Activating and Using the Reorder Point in Your Dashboard

The Reorder Point feature helps you manage your inventory efficiently by notifying you when stock levels fall below a specified threshold. This ensures timely restocking to avoid stockouts, maintain optimal inventory levels, reduce holding costs, and simplify the restocking process through timely notifications.


Here’s how you can activate it and use it:


1. Access the Inventory Section

  • Log into your byrd dashboard.
  • Navigate to the "Inventory" section.
  • Go to "Products" and either click “New product” or edit an existing one.

2. Set the Reorder Point

  • In “Manually” tab for creating a new product, scroll down to the "Additional Info" section.
  • Find the "Reorder Point" field on the left side.
  • Enter the quantity at which you want to be notified to reorder the product.
  • After entering all necessary details, including the reorder point, click "Save".



3. Reorder Point Notifications

  • Once the inventory level of a product falls below the set reorder point, the system will automatically notify you.
  • You can then take appropriate action to replenish the stock, ensuring you don’t run out of critical products.
