Colissimo Point Relais: Pick up Stations for France

Overview


Colissimo Point Relais is the pick-up station service in France.

Pick-up stations are very popular in France, it has one of the most positive attitudes towards pickup points. 

About 62% of the french people prefer to have the parcels delivered to a pick-up station.

Some points why Point Relais is valuable for you:

  • You can offer a cheaper and a good option for your end consumers

  • The end consumers have then the ability to choose the timing of pick up

If you are willing to use the Point Realis, please let us know via e-mail or the Support Portal, so we can open a Colissmio account for you.

Once the account is created, you can follow the steps below.


In order to be able to have Point Relais as an option from the shop and enable the Colissimo map to be displayed during the checkout process, first you would need to install the Colissimo extension to your WooCommerce shop in the options:

Plugins > Add new and browsing for "Colissimo Officiel"


Once the plugin is installed it needs to be configured in the menu:

WooCommerce > Settings > Colissimo Officiel

There you would need to include your ID and Password for Colissimo that we provided for you before.



 

After this setup, the checkout can come. 

You can see the Point Relais option as a pop-up map in the WooCommerce shop:




Here you can change the pick-up place and add the information:



After that, we import the order to our Customer Dashboard. They will show up with a sign at the end of the line:

After this setup, the checkout can come.


Shopify allows the end consumer to change from home delivery to pick-up station even after the order is already created and after the checkout process. That generates some limitations on our side: we cannot update the address to a pick-up Station if the order was already fulfilled and sent. 

If the change is made before or during the fulfillment process we are able to update it, but once the order finishes fulfillment and we print the label with the address, the shipment will be sent and it won't be updated.

The Point Relais option will appear as a pop-up with a map to choose a pickup station in the Shopify shop by the end of the checkout process:



After that, we import the order to our Customer Dashboard. They will show up with a sign at the end of the line:
