How is the inventory calculated?

Modified on Wed, 15 Dec 2021 at 09:14 AM

Inventory is categorized as physical, reserved, and available. With this system we make sure that you don't mistakenly sell more goods than available.

The physical inventory is what is currently in stock at our fulfillment center(s). This is shown in the inventory column and the reserved amount is displayed in brackets next to each number.

The number in brackets refers to goods that have been reserved due to new orders, but for which picking has not yet started and therefore the corresponding goods are still technically in stock.

It may be that the physical stock states 10, but also states (10) for the reserved inventory due to incoming orders. This would mean that the available inventory is 0.

In order to calculate the available inventory, you need to deduct the reserved inventory from the physical inventory. The resulting number is also what we transmit to your online shop.
