How to announce a delivery

Modified on Tue, 25 Jul 2023 at 04:37 PM

To guarantee a smooth and timely inbounding of your goods, you need to announce your deliveries in the Dashboard before sending the inventory.

The delivery announcement can be found under Inventory > Deliveries > Click New Delivery

You can watch an in-depth video below:

  1. You can choose products for the delivery either manually or via CSV file.
  2.  Select how the delivery will be sent, either through pallets or parcels. If your delivery requires counting you are also able to select this option.
  3. Enter further information about where, how and when it will be delivered. If you have a multi warehouse setup you can select the warehouse you would like to deliver to, as well as the carrier and the delivery type. (at the moment only the regular truck delivery type will be available for most customers. If you have a container delivery or a truck delivery, please inform your Onboarding Manager.
  4. The last step in this section is to select a time frame for the estimated time of arrival (for more information on the lead time for delivery notices we require prior to arrival, depending on size, please refer to the delivery guidelines)
  5. Download and print the Delivery note, and attach it to each parcel or pallet.

Important points:

  • Check our Delivery Guidelines and Requirements before sending your inventory. Deliveries that are not compliant with our guidelines, might get rejected or additional fees could be charged for the inbounding.
  • First-time deliveries must be announced one week in advance.
  • Subsequent deliveries can be announced three days in advance.
  • Deliveries that include new products (products that were not previously in stock) must also be announced one week in advance.
