Hi there,
The peak and holiday season is approaching, which means that order volumes are expected to increase significantly, and logistics can become quite stressful. To keep things under control during this busy period, we encourage you to arrange deliveries to restock your inventory early enough, ideally already in October, to make sure that you are not running out of stock.
Moreover, we would like to invite you to join us at our upcoming customer webinar, where you get some more hands-on tips to manage the peak season with us as well as learn about new features in our dashboard!
Please read the information below carefully to learn more about this year’s peak season guidelines
DELIVERY DEADLINES
We encourage you to arrange replenishment deliveries early enough, ideally already in October, in order to make sure that you are not running out of stock. However, the latest deadline, with which we guarantee to get your products back in stock with new deliveries before Black Friday & Cyber Monday, is the 15th of November. Deliveries that arrive at the warehouse after the 15th of November, will still be accepted, but the receiving of this stock will not be priorities. Please keep in mind to verify the opening hours of the warehouses.
The deadline for stock deliveries for the BFCM-Week 2022 is 15. 11. 2022
You must announce all deliveries that will arrive in November by the 1st of November
All deliveries that will arrive in December by the 1st of December
Please ensure that every announced delivery has a tracking number or link added to the byrd dashboard
Deliveries that meet the requirements of our inbounding delivery standards, and arrive before the deadline, will be processed according to the inbounding SLA‘s. All deliveries that arrive after the deadline, or are not in accordance with our delivery standards, have a high risk of being inbounded after the Black Friday Week and can not be prioritized.
TEMPORARY PRIORITIZATION OF OUTBOUND SHIPMENTS
During calendar weeks 46/47/48 (16.11 - 05.12) and weeks 50/51/52 (17.12 - 31.12), our warehouses will prioritize the outbounding of your orders during the peak season. This is why incoming deliveries and returns might not be processed within our standard SLAs.
After those weeks, we are going to resume the inbounding of deliveries at the warehouse and will prioritize them based on the arrival date.
The timeline for the inbounding of deliveries that arrive after the 15th of November will be communicated by byrd during the busy season. Please be aware that sticking to our byrd delivery standards is critical in order to get your products inbounded without delay.
General information
In order to avoid bottlenecks in the warehouse, we encourage you to submit the shipment volume forecasting data as well as a delivery plan, which will help us to plan the fulfillment capacities in advance. Sharing this information with us is especially recommended if inventory quantities planned for deliveries in Q4 are higher than in Q3. If you have any questions, please contact your account support.
Thank you for your understanding! In case you expect possible delays in your announced deliveries, we kindly ask you to contact us.
