The following text contains guidelines that every warehouse should adhere to for flawless pallet processing.
These are valid for customers who have no specific requirements
Lead time for the expedition (standard process)
Deviations from the standard process are communicated via ticket by the responsible byrd Operational Manager.
Minimum capacity: 3 pallets per customer and day
These lead times shall apply to transports organized by byrd or self-collections (including transports organized by the customer).
If the order is released before 1 pm on the release day, the pallet shipment must be ready for shipment within 48 hours from the processing start date.
For pallet shipments we define 4 stages:
1. Release day: day on which the order is released.
2. First processing day: first day of order processing.
3. Processing day: day of order processing and communication of the corresponding pallet dimensions to the byrd Operational Manager by 3 p.m. at the latest.
4. Day of dispatch: Pallet is provided = collection is possible.
Example: Order released Monday 10 am:

If the transport is organized by byrd, the pallets must leave the warehouse with the corresponding loading list and pallet label. These are provided by the byrd Operational Manager via ticket.
3. Customs documents
Pallet shipments that are subject to customs clearance must leave the warehouse with the appropriate customs documents. These are provided by the byrd Operational Manager via ticket.
