Connect your Xentral shop to your byrd account by following these steps:
1. Connect Your Shop in Your Xentral Account
- In your Xentral instance dashboard, navigate to: “Administration” → “System”→ “API account.”
- Create a new API account:
- Enable options: Active and UTF8 Clean.
- Create a name (e.g., byrd) for the account.
- Create a username (e.g., byrd) and set a password.
- Enable following permissions (checkboxes in the Permissions section):
- List Articles
- Standard Article Edit
- Create Tracking Number
- List Delivery Notes
- Save the API account by clicking “Save”.
2. Configure your warehouse settings in Xentral
- Go to: “Fulfillment” → “Warehouse Management” in your Xentral dashboard.
- Select your warehouse and click “Edit”.
- Go to the "Shelves" tab.
- byrd requires at least one shelf name to manage stocks. If you don’t have a designated shelf or want to use a new one for byrd, create a shelf named ‘byrd’.
- To create a new shelf, use the "Create a new shelf" button.
Important: Note down the shelf name so you can enter it into the byrd Dashboard during the final step described below.
3. Log in Add Shop Connection in Your Account
- Log in to your byrd account.
- Go to your name (top right corner, drop-down arrow) and click on “Settings”.
- Click on the "Shop Connections" tab.
- Select "Xentral."
- Fill in the following information:
- Shop Name.
- URL: Enter here your Xentral URL (e.g., https://www.xentral.com/api)
- Username (API Account): Enter your Xentral API username
- Password (API Account): Enter your Xentral API password
- Warehouse Shelf Name (optional): Specify your warehouse shelf name, if applicable
- Click "Save."
