Shipping to DHL Packing Stations

All you need for shipments going to DHL Packing Stations.

Shipping to Packstation or Postfiliale Addresses

Please note that due to DHL leaving the Austrian market, it is currently not possible to ship to Packstation or Postfiliale addresses from Austria to Germany.

Preventing Returns to Packstation/Postfiliale Addresses

To prevent returns that were meant to go to Packstation/Postfiliale addresses, the following points must be noted in the recipient's address:

  • Name: Name of the Customer
  • Company: Recipient's Post Number - nothing else
  • Street: Packstation number
  • House Number: Packstation Number
  • ZIP Code: ZIP Code of the Packing Station
  • Place: City
  • Country: Country

DHL Postfiliale shipments get blocked already at release if they don’t have a valid Postnummer in the address. A valid Postnummer is a number between 6-10 digits and it needs to be included in either the Company Name or Address Addition address fields in our system. You then get notified of such errors in your dashboard to add this missing information (e.g. by contacting your customer).

This is identical to the release check also applied to DHL Packstation shipments.
